Ron Prevost, the owner of the Bernina Sewing Center, brought in an expert with over 10 years of experience owning and operating many different types of sewing machines, with Bernina being her specialty. “Based on customer feedback it was determined that the many customers that invested in these fine machines with us prefer to have in-person instruction rather than the generic online classes offered by other sewing machine shops,” stated Mr. Prevost.
Mr. Prevost is the second generation owner of Hillsboro Vac and Sew , whose father started the business in the early 1970’s. He developed an affinity for the business by helping his father both sell and service, first vacuum cleaners, then graduated to the more complex machinery in sewing machines.
